Stevens Creek Volunteer Fire Department needs volunteers.
As a low-volume volunteer fire department, we need individuals who are interested in building new skills and committing their time to the Stevens Creek Community. We are a group of hard-working individuals with a vision of a safer tomorrow for all who live here.
Being a volunteer emergency responder is a rewarding experience and an extraordinary way to serve your community. It takes compassion, dedication, sacrifice, leadership, and mental/physical stamina.
Today, SCVFD needs volunteers more than ever. To give some perspective, in the late 1970’s our newly formed department was made up of 37 residents from our area. Over time, the majority of those residents have departed, leaving only six active remaining members.
In addition to adding more firefighters, we’re also looking for anyone who wants to support our department as part of our Auxiliary to help with fundraising activities such as our annual BBQ.
